You’ve got a list of blog post ideas, a newsletter you’ve been “about to send” for two months, and an Instagram account that hasn’t seen a new post since last summer. 👀
Marketing is always on your to-do list, it’s just never at the top.
Let’s stop pretending more willpower is going to fix this.
By the time you’ve finished designing for the day, your creative energy is drained.
And the last thing you want to do is sit down and be creative again, this time about your own business. So marketing slides to the bottom of the list, then off the list entirely.
Meanwhile, everyone keeps telling you the answer is to show up more. Post every day. Send the weekly newsletter. Write the blog posts. Repurpose all of it for three different platforms.
That’s a ridiculous amount of creative output to expect from one person who already does creative work for a living.
If this sounds familiar, nothing is wrong with you. You’re running on empty, and guilt doesn’t refill that tank.
Me After Writing One Caption
Here’s how I’ve started thinking about it...
Some parts of your business are sacred, and they deserve your best creative energy. Marketing isn’t one of them.
Every creative business has sacred parts—your ideas, your design work, the way you take care of your clients. That’s the stuff that’s actually yours, and it should always have a human touch. It’s the work you’d happily lose an entire afternoon to, and it’s a big part of why clients choose you.
Then there’s the slog: the work you have to push through to keep your business going. For most of us, that’s marketing. It matters, and it pays the bills, but it was never the reason you started. And unlike your sacred work, it’s never really finished.
There’s always another email to send.
The problem is that the sacred and the slog pull from the same tank.
Every hour you spend wrestling with content creation and marketing is creative energy you don’t have for the work you love. Do that long enough and you end up with creative burnout, which is a very real problem for a lot of designers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs right now.
The usual advice is to try harder. Batch your content, block off more time, find a better productivity system. But you can’t productivity-hack your way into having more creative energy.
So I stopped asking how to squeeze more marketing out of myself and started asking a different question:
How do we protect the sacred stuff from the slog?
The answer turned into Marketing Managed, an AI content creation system that makes planning and creating your marketing faster and easier, so your best creative energy goes back where it belongs—the work you actually love.
From ideas to drafts, Marketing Managed does a lot of the heavy lifting. You get the final say and add your own special human touch.
If you’ve ever asked AI to “write an Instagram caption for my design business,” you know what usually comes back...
...Something bland and vaguely enthusiastic that could’ve been written for anyone. That’s because it doesn’t know anything about you or your business.
Marketing Managed fixes that in two parts.
First, it learns your business.
During setup, Claude interviews you one question at a time about your brand voice, audience, offers, and what’s worked so far. No giant workbook, just an ADHD-friendly conversation. Your answers become reference files Claude checks every time you create something.
Then it follows a playbook.
Every kind of content, from newsletters and blog posts to Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, and sales pages, has its own dedicated skill: a detailed set of instructions for doing that specific job well. So a newsletter is treated like a newsletter, not a long Instagram caption.

MARKETING MANAGED

MARKETING MANAGED —
Think of it like onboarding a top tier marketing assistant, without the 4-figure price tag.
You tell them everything once, hand them a playbook, and then work together on each piece. You still bring your ideas, opinions, and final say. They just make the whole thing a lot faster and easier.
And it all happens inside your Claude account, with no new app to learn and no access to your accounts required.
Hey, I’m Kate, and I’ll be honest, I was pretty skeptical about AI at first.
Instead of rushing to be an early adopter, I took my time thinking through what it meant for the future of creative work.
After finally getting on board and working with custom GPTs for a while, I decided to dive deeper and invest in a couple of more robust AI marketing systems from some of the bigger names in the industry.
Those systems came with huge Google Doc templates you had to fill out to train the AI on your voice, business strategy, and everything else.
My attention span didn’t even hold through the first page.
For my brain, a giant blank workbook is basically a brick wall. A system that was supposed to save me time and energy turned into one more overwhelming task I kept putting off.
So instead, I built something that’s compatible with my ADHD brain.
I created a system that trains AI by asking one question at a time, just like a real conversation...no workbook required. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s effective.
The conversation format turned out to work better, too. When you’re talking (or typing) through your business organically instead of filling in blanks, you naturally share the stories and opinions that make your marketing content unique. And that’s exactly what the AI needs to learn to write like you.
That ease matters a lot to me personally. I live with a chronic illness, and my energy changes from week to week. For me, AI isn’t about cranking out more content or pandering to hustle culture. It’s an accessibility tool that helps me keep showing up for my business, even on low-energy days.
In fact, this sales page and all of the marketing materials for this launch were created with the help of Marketing Managed.
I use it in my own business, and now I get to share it with you. 🤍
Marketing Managed is for you if…
You know you should be marketing more consistently, but it keeps sliding to the bottom of your list
You’re new to AI and want a friendly, low-pressure way to start using it in your business
You already use AI, but your results sound generic and you’re tired of re-explaining your business every time
You want help with the heavy lifting while keeping your ideas, your voice, and the final say
You’d rather save your creative energy for the work you love
…but it’s probably not for you if…
You want someone else to take over your marketing entirely, without your ideas, input, or final review
You’re looking for an agentic AI tool that has access to your computer, inbox, or social media accounts
You’re not open to paying for Claude Pro, the lowest-cost plan the system needs to run
You genuinely love handcrafting every single post and newsletter from scratch (if so, please teach me your ways)
You’d rather not use AI in your business at all, and that’s okay!

FAQ

Not at all! A lot of creatives haven’t done much with AI yet, and Marketing Managed was built with that in mind. Setup is a conversation: Claude asks you questions one at a time, and you answer them like you’re chatting with a friend who’s very curious about your business. The Quick Start Videos walk you through every step, and if you still get stuck, you’ll have 90 days of email support to help you out.
-
Technically, no. Marketing Managed works on Claude’s free plan. But the free plan has much lower usage limits, and you’ll likely run into those limits quickly. For the smoothest experience, I recommend Claude Pro, which is currently $20 a month (or $17 a month if you pay annually).
You can also use the system with ChatGPT, but you’ll need the Pro Plan, which runs $100 a month, which is why I recommend sticking with Claude.
-
Nope. This system doesn’t use agentic AI, which means you never have to give Claude control of your computer, your inbox, your social media accounts, or anything else you don’t want it touching. With stories like the AI agent that broke into Hugging Face’s systems, I don’t blame anyone for being nervous about that kind of access, so it’s not part of how this works.
-
I take the concerns about AI seriously, which is a big part of why I was slow to adopt it. Where I’ve landed is that the sacred parts of my business, like my ideas and my design work, stay human. AI helps with the rest. I also don’t think “there’s no ethical way to use AI” leaves much room for disabled and chronically ill creators who rely on these tools to manage their energy. Using AI is a personal choice, and you get to decide where your own lines are. If you want the longer version, I’ve written about it here and here.
-
That’s the whole point. Generic AI content sounds generic because it starts from nothing. Marketing Managed starts with you. During setup, it learns your voice, your audience, your offers, and how you like to talk about your work. Then each skill follows a detailed playbook for that type of content. You’ll still review every draft and add your own touch before anything goes live (it’s a heavy assist, not a replacement for you), but you won’t be starting from a blank page.
-
Most people can get their system up and running in 1–4 hours, depending on how much info you have to share, how much Claude already knows about your business, and whether you type your answers or dictate them.
(Dictation apps like Wispr Flow can speed things up considerably and I highly recommend signing up for a free trial, but it’s totally optional.)
