101 Self-Care Ideas for Women Entrepreneurs
Feeling burned-out? Whether you have five minutes or five days to spare, a little self-care can go a long way to helping you get your creative mojo back. Take a breather and try one of these ideas to pamper yourself.

1. Light some beeswax candles and take a bath. Add a fancy bath soak* to make it more rejuvenating.
2. Pause and spend 5 minutes chanting "om." (You’d be surprised how this can wipe your emotional slate clean.)
3. Read a personal development book. (I recommend The Wisdom of the Enneagram* by Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson.)
4. Pull out the art supplies and color, sketch, or paint to your heart’s content.
5. Spend a day with your pet or volunteer at a local animal shelter.
6. Buy yourself flowers.
7. Make a list of 10 things you're grateful for.
8. Take a day off and visit a museum or historical site near you.
9. Take a long, leisurely walk in a natural setting.
10. Turn on the essential oil diffuser* or pour some vanilla extract in a mug and pop it in the oven at 300ºF.
11. Download an app like Headspace or Breathe and spend a few minutes meditating.
12. Binge-watch your favorite TV show.
13. Spend some quality time at a library or bookstore.

15. Marie Kondo your stuff and donate anything that doesn’t spark joy.

31. Get your hair done and dress up in your best outfit just to hang around the house all day.
32. Sign up for a course on a topic that really interests you online or at your local community college.
33. Have a solo dance party!
34. Write some kind messages to yourself on Post-It Notes and stick them all over your home.
35. Buy a new perfume.
36. Make a list of your best qualities.
37. Hit the road for a spontaneous adventure—no planning allowed! Invite a friend to join you.
38. Eat clean for a week and drink plenty of water.
39. Cuddle or hold hands with someone you love (furry critters included!).
40. Lie in the sun for 15 minutes to get a shot of vitamin D.

83. Take a martial arts or self-defense class.
84. Spend some time on the water–kayaking, canoeing, rowing, sailing, or motor-boating.

89. Make a playlist of empowering and uplifting music to listen to while you're getting ready in the morning.
90. Join a community of some kind. This could be a religious congregation, a social club, recreation league, civic/activist group, or business organization.
91. Write a letter of forgiveness to someone who's wronged you or a letter of apology to someone you've wronged. You don't have to send it.
92. Do something kind for a stranger.
93. Commit to saving as much money as you can and not spending any on non-essentials for a month.
94. Take a dance class.
95. Help the planet by doing one thing to make your life more eco-friendly.
96. Listen to an audiobook.
97. Go to your local health food store and splurge on whatever treats catch your eye.
